Email-to-SMS
Your email, by text, on any phone that can send and receive texts.
What it does
Email-to-SMS is for people who use basic phones (calls and texts only). You connect your own Gmail account on our website and choose rules for which emails you want. We text you a short copy of each matching email: the sender, the subject and the message. You can reply by text, and after you confirm, we send your reply from your own Gmail.
We only text you what you asked for: your emails, your replies, and account notices such as verification codes and plan notices. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
How to sign up for texts
- Sign in at email-to-sms-web.vercel.app and connect your Gmail account.
- On the phone step, enter your own mobile number and tap “Text me a code”. The consent shown below appears directly under the number field.
- Enter the code we text you. Texts start only after you enter that code.
You can also text START to (218) 306-8953. We reply asking for your email address, and no email is sent to you by text until you finish setup on the website.
